In the morning of March 28th, invited by the engineering research centre of the national medicine and TCM development and application and the key laboratory of pharmaceutical preparations of Guizhou Province, Preffessor Khuloud T. Al-Jamal, King's College London (KCL for short) Paid Academic Exchange Visit to GMU with Ph. D. Chen Rong-rong of forensic identification and drug doping test centre, Ph. D. Wafa T. Al-Jamal, researcher of prostate cancer research centre of School of Pharmacy, University of East Anglia (UEA) and Yang Song, president of the Association of Guizhou and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland). Luo Peng, vice president of GMU and Guo Bing, director of Division of Science and Technology and Fu Qihong, director of Division of International Relations attended the meeting with the relevant participants of the laboratory.
The visiting experts visited the experimental platforms of the engineering center and the key laboratory, learning about the related research directions, results and the present work progress. Then, they had discussion in the laboratory, hosted by professor Wang Yong-lin. Luo Peng expressed sincere welcome to the visiting of professor Khuloud T. Al-Jamal and his fellows. Preprocessor Khuloud T. Al-Jamal introduced the general situation, scientific research conditions and academic status of King's College London; Professor Huang Yong introduced about the construction of the laboratory research platforms, key research projects, production-study-research cooperation results and foreign service conditions. At the same time, the two parties carried out the exchange on the common concerns about the related scientific research work in new drug delivery systems, and entered into a cooperation intention on the international scientific and technological cooperation, personnel training and personnel exchanges. At the end, Professor Khuloud T. Al-Jamal and Ph. D. Wafa T. Al-Jamal were employed as visiting professors of GMU, which laid a good foundation for the further international cooperation and exchange of science and technology between the two parties.
