The First Council of Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association holds First Meeting

    The First Council of Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association held its first meeting in the meeting room on the 6th floor of the Comprehensive Building on October 24. President Song Yufeng, also the honorary chairperson of the association, was present at the meeting which was attended by 17 councilors including Wang Jishi, Yang Qin, Fu Qihong, Gao Xiuli, etc. and all staff members of the Department of United Front of CPC Guiyang Medical College Committee. 
    At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Ma Li, director of the department of United Front of CPC GMC Committee, briefed the attendants the preparation work on behalf of the preparatory committee of Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association. It was at the meeting that Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association Charter(Draft), Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association Membership Qualification, The Election Procedure for the First Council of Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association(Draft), The Election Procedure for the Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, and Secretary-General for Guiyang Medical College Overseas-educated Scholars Association were reviewed and passed, and the chairperson, vice-chairpersons, and the secretary-general were elected.     
    
President Song Yufeng, the honorary chairperson of the association, made a speech at the end of the meeting. He expressed his appreciation of the preparatory work involved all sides, promised support on behalf of the school authority, and hoped 1. All members of the association always give the priority to the country’s interest and work hard for the school; 2. All members be creative and explorative in the long journey of scientific research; 3. All members make full use of their previous experience and play roles in cultural and civilization exchange; and 4. All members make more friends and work hard together to boost the development of the school.
